What a transformation this is!
This contempoary design and build project used a mix of dark coloured clay pavours matched with a single sized Porcelain tile to create a wonderful entertaining space in what was an unuseable empty space behind a lovely large house in Woolavington, Somerset.
With clients who really wanted a garden they could entertain in day and night, and one that would match their cool tastes in contemporary design, we were chosen to design a smart useable garden with lots of lush tropical planting.
A living wall with a bespoke copper spout water feature was added as a focal point to the garden, and gabion cages using a blue stone to match the blue lias of the house were added to be used as seating and raised planting beds. These were capped with Yellow Balua hardwood to add to the tropical nature of the design.
A large grey metal pergola with louvred roof was fitted to provide shade and shelter and the garden was finished off with a huge Corten steel fire pit.
Both the clients and i are over the moon with the finished result.
