Traditional Cottage Garden Design, Chilton Polden, Somerset

This traditional cottage garden design, lacked a seating area that the clients could use to enjoy their love of planting.

A curved stone wall using blue lias now frames a large sandstone seating area. Steps lead up to a new lawn, whilst flower beds behind the retaining wall brought planting closer to the seating area.
