Contemporary Front & Back Gardens, Glastonbury, Somerset

We created a contemporary front garden as well as a back garden, it was needed to compliment the new modern interior of this property in Glastonbury. Major groundworks were first required to raise the garden approx 1 metre in height and provide a usable slope on which to build.

The paving consists of Mint sawn sandstone, with bullnosed edgings and bullnosed steps to match. A central lawn was raised using rendered blockwork, and a circular seating area installed. Uplighters frame the rendered walls, whilst spike lights highlight various structural plants.

The front garden was enclosed using bricks to match the property, and slatted trellis to add privacy.
