Traditional Back Garden Design, North Curry, Somerset

After removal of the existing lawn, gravel pathways and unwanted planting, we’ve transformed this back garden into a multi levelled manageable garden with lots of planting space, a new corner summerhouse and various seating areas.

Oak timbers have been built vertically to allow for sweeping curved raised beds, which also act as seats. We’ve used a traditional mix of Limestone paired with slimline clay pavers from Chelmar Valley to contrast as the hard paved surfaces.

New painted tongue and groove Jacksons fencing screens the road and adds privacy, and now the garden is a really enjoyable place to be.
