Porcelain Patio, South Petherton, Somerset

We were asked to provide a number of designs for this large hard landscaping project in South Petherton. Faced with an ageing and difficult to maintain patio area, with large lawns, the clients agreed on a modern update to the garden, matching man made, low maintenance Urban grey porcelain paving from London Stone, with more natural Ham stone materials to tie their new design in with their large traditional garden.

To add a layer of interest, a Cinder Porcelain plank paving stone borders the new patio and pathways around the house, and a new entrance using Grey plank paving really gives the property a grand entrance.

Pathways lead around the back garden to a large Gazebo entertaining area, and new horizontal slatted privacy fence panels screen the property, with large evergreen Photinia pleached trees providing some extra screening. There are also 5 raised porcelain planters, and a bespoke handcut porcelain circle containing a water feature. All areas of the garden are lit using LED spike and flood lights, with festoon lamps to add a little extra fun to the Gazebo sitting area.
