By offering a complete design and build service we are uniquely placed to help our clients achieve their dream garden. There’s nothing more satisfying than creating a beautiful garden from inception to completion.
The garden design process
Your first step in the garden design process will be to chat with our Director, Daniel, to discuss your dreams. How would you like to use your new garden? What style of garden appeals to you? How much maintenance will you want to do? And, of course, how much have you budgeted for your garden makeover.
That conversation will be followed up by a one hour site visit in which your garden will be measured and detailed notes will be taken so that we can build a client brief. Daniel will discuss some initial ideas with you. You can also chat about the materials and colours you might like to use in your new garden.
3D garden design
Following on from the site visit, Daniel will combine the garden measurements with your wish list to create a unique garden design that is tailored to your property and to your personality. This normally takes 2-4 weeks and will be presented to you as a 3D garden design so that you can visualise how you might use every part of your new look garden.
With a 3D garden design, you can easily understand the layout of the project, with all of the levels, materials, and colours we’ve chosen. Most of our clients are amazed at how Daniel seems to intuitively design their perfect garden. However, we will spend time with you, talking you through the design, showing you samples of materials, and answering any questions you may have. You can, of course, ask for design changes.
When the design is finalised, you’ll be provided with realistic 3D renders of your garden plan along with a “fly-through” video that you can view with family and friends as you imagine yourself in your dream garden.
Once you have agreed and signed-off the design. Daniel and the team will provide you with a detailed estimate of the project, a scope of works, and a copy of SilverBirch Gardens Ltd Terms and Conditions. We will also let you know our estimated start date.
How long does the garden design and build process take?
Every garden is different. Construction may take anywhere between 3 weeks and several months – depending on the size and complexity of your project. If you have a deadline to meet, please contact us in good time
